Normally I don’t bother with name brand tablets like the Dell Venue. However this one has recently been discounted enough to be listed on this site and it also has processing power to compete with the likes of the Toshiba Excite Go.
What really sets this tablet apart is the screen and the warranty.
The screen resolution is 1280 x 800. While that isn’t full 1080p, it’s VERY good for a 7 inch tablet. The viewing angle is also very good and can easily be used in a bright room.
The processor is 1.6ghz and is the fastest tablet yet for under $100. It comes with 1GB of ram and a whopping 16GB of internal storage. And while you have the option to expand the memory beyond that you won’t need to for quite a while. Especially with apps like Google Drive or Drop Box.
Another reason you may want to go with this tablet is the plethora of accessories available for it. Dell is a well known brand and you will always be able to find a case, dock, or screen protector for it.
Also due to the Dell branding you will have a warranty in case something goes wrong with the tablet.
